What does the $500 Priority Access deposit secure?

Your $500 per-person deposit reserves one of the limited places on your selected tour and gives you early access to the completed itinerary before it is released publicly. Public tours are limited to a maximum of 24 travellers and regularly sell out well in advance, so Priority Access gives you the first opportunity to review and accept the tour.

Is the $500 deposit deducted from the final tour price?

Yes. If you accept the completed itinerary, your $500 per-person Priority Access deposit is credited towards the total tour price.

When will the completed itineraries be released?

Accepted Answer

Completed 2027 itineraries are expected to be released around 15 September 2026, after the NBA schedule becomes available and Dream Hoop Tours has finalised the dates, cities, games, flights, hotels and included experiences. This date is indicative and may change if the NBA schedule or supplier confirmations are delayed.

How long will I have to decide?

Priority Access guests will have five business days from the date the completed itinerary is released to accept the tour or request a refund of their $500 deposit.

What happens if I accept the itinerary?

Accepted Answer

To confirm your booking, an additional $1,000 per person must be paid within the acceptance period. This brings your total deposit to $1,500 per person. Once you accept the itinerary and the additional payment is made, the full $1,500 per-person deposit becomes non-refundable and the standard booking terms apply.

What happens if I decide not to proceed or do not respond?

If you decide not to proceed within the decision period, your $500 deposit will be refunded in full and the reserved place will become available to another traveller. If Dream Hoop Tours does not receive a response, Ryan will contact you before the place is released.

What happens after I pay the Priority Access deposit?

You will receive a booking confirmation and access to the Dream Hoop Tours client portal. The portal will be used to collect traveller details, provide documents, display your payment schedule and share important tour updates. The lead traveller manages the booking and can contact Ryan if another adult also needs portal access.

The advertised travel windows are indicative. Exact departure and return dates will be confirmed after the NBA schedule is released and the final flights, games and itinerary have been secured.

How many NBA games are expected to be included?

The January Tour is expected to include approximately 4–6 NBA games. The February/March Tour is expected to include approximately 7–10 games. The NBA Playoffs Tour is expected to include approximately 4–6 playoff games, subject to the final playoff schedule, matchups and ticket availability.

Public Dream Hoop Tours groups are limited to a maximum of 24 travellers. Keeping groups small allows for a more personal, fully hosted experience and makes group movements, team experiences and premium seating easier to manage.

Can I choose a tour or register for more than one?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can select your preferred tour when paying your Priority Access deposit. You may register your interest in multiple tours, but a separate Priority Access deposit is required for each tour if you want to reserve a place and receive early access to more than one completed itinerary.

Will I receive the full itinerary before committing?

Yes. Priority Access guests will receive the completed itinerary before its public release. You will then have five business days to review the dates, cities, games, inclusions and final pricing before deciding whether to proceed.

Can NBA games or the itinerary change after booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. NBA schedules, game times, venues, team experiences, flights and other arrangements can change for reasons outside Dream Hoop Tours' control. If this happens, travellers will be updated promptly and every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a suitable alternative while protecting the overall quality of the tour. Any refund, replacement or credit for a cancelled or rescheduled game will depend on the relevant team, venue and ticket-provider policies.

How much do the 2027 tours cost?

Current advertised pricing starts from AUD $7,495 per person for the January Tour and AUD $10,200 per person for the February/March Tour, based on twin-share accommodation. Final pricing will be confirmed once flights, hotels, NBA tickets and tour experiences have been secured. The latest estimate for each tour will always be displayed on its individual tour page.

Yes. Advertised public-tour prices are based on two travellers sharing a room. A single-room supplement and other room configurations are subject to availability and additional cost.

Yes. After the confirmed deposit, the remaining tour balance is divided into scheduled instalments. The complete payment schedule, including amounts and due dates, will be provided with the completed itinerary before you accept the tour.

Return international economy flights are included on advertised fully hosted public tours from the nominated departure point. Available Australian and New Zealand departure options will be listed in the completed itinerary. Additional connecting flights or changes to the nominated departure city may incur an extra cost.

Are internal US flights included?

Yes. Any internal US flights shown as part of the confirmed tour itinerary are included in the tour price, checked-baggage allowance differs from airline to airline and will be specified in the itinerary.

What standard of hotels are used?

Dream Hoop Tours uses quality three-star and above hotels in safe, convenient locations. Priority is given to cleanliness, comfort and easy access to arenas, attractions and group transport. Typically we use multi-national Hotel chains like Hyatt Place, IHG, Hilton etc.

Scheduled group airport transfers are included where shown in the itinerary. Travellers arriving or departing separately from the group may need to arrange and pay for their own transfers.
